Field Clinical Engineer (open):

 

DEPARTMENT: Clinical/Regulatory

REPORTS TO: Director, Field Clinical Engineering

SUPERVISES: NA

EXEMPT OR NONEXEMPT: Exempt

PURPOSE: To provide training and clinical support on Medrobotics Corporation products

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Participate in the design and development of study training programs.

    • Provide worldwide technical and case support for clinical and post market studies.

    • Facilitate with site selection, initiation, audits, and closure.

    • Coordinate and assist with cadaver and on-site training for physicians and allied professionals.

    • Assist sales and marketing with market release of new products.

    • Participate in product validation.

    • Provide support for product development and operations.

    • Attend professional meetings and scientific symposia.

    • Function independently while maintaining professional relationships, both in-house and at sites.

    • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will provide expert technical and clinical support for the clinical study sites by attending cases and acting as the conduit between the site and the company. Specifically, this position will be responsible for physician training, case coverage, follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education to sites worldwide.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 5 years in clinical research.

    • Experience that includes case support and training on clinical protocols.

    • Working knowledge of FDA and European regulations as they pertain to clinical study conduct, GCP, and other standards, policies and regulations.

    • Minimum of three years of experience working in the field of cardiology or medical devices within a clinical setting.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

    • Excellent written, computer, and verbal communication skills

    • Travel at least 75-80% of the time, both domestic and international.
